RICHARD ROZINSKI
Richard uses forged and fabricated abstract shapes to create geometric and organic sculptures. His creations convey the impression of movement and life. These images are inspired by rock formations, the motions of water, aquatic habitats, astronomical patterns in the life cycles of plants and animals. He feels the simplicity inherent in these forms is both inspiring and breath-taking. Richard grew up surrounded by metal workers which made metal a most natural material for him to work with . Through the various techniques of metalsmithing, fabrication and welding he produces sculptures that are infused with neon.They illuminate an entire space and luscious lights and shadows, bathing and embracing the viewer. For Richard, eruption's of the metals surface represent the emergence of life and Neon speaks of the awakening spirit.
